Please be informed that The Sampan Boat Rides located at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands will be closed from 3 June to 22 July for improvement works.
A gentle reminder to remove the abovementioned product in your sales channels, this will be applicable to both travel agents on redemption and bulk-purchase model. This is inclusive to all relevant sub agents as well.
Enjoy a leisurely ride along the Canal at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands aboard a traditional wooden Sampan. Valid only from Mondays to Fridays.
Take a leisurely ride aboard a beautifully crafted Sampan, paddled by skilled rowers along the Canal at The Shoppes in the heart of Marina Bay Sands. Admire the cultural significance of the boat, inspired by the small wooden skiffs that once navigated the Singapore River during the height of the country’s trading activity. During the ride, you'll circle the Rain Oculus, a 22-metre-wide acrylic bowl that collects rainwater, and witness 22,000 litres of water cascading from two stories above.

Child policy:
- Children must be at least 85cm in height to participate in this activity.
- Children under 13 years must be accompanied by a paying adult at least 18 years at all times.
Good to know:
- Each boat can accommodate up to six guests. Please note that guests may be asked to share a boat.
- Last admission is 10 minutes before closing time. Check the official website for the daily opening hours before your visit.
- This activity is not suitable for pregnant women.

Terms and conditions
- This ticket entitles one person to one Sampan Ride.
- A valid ticket is required for all individuals, ie. children and all adults, including all adults accompanying young visitors and/or children.
- For the safety and security of young visitors, children below the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult (above the age of 18) at all times. The accompanying adult shall be required to purchase a valid ticket for entry.
- Proof of age may be required before entry is granted.
- Children under 85cm in height are not permitted on the sampan.
- For safety purposes, pregnant ladies are not allowed to take the ride.
- Guests must remain seated for the duration of the ride.
- The Ticket holder assumes all risk and liability for any medical conditions associated with taking a Sampan Ride. MBS shall bear no liability for any personal injuries, health problems or death sustained during a Sampan Ride directly or indirectly resulting from any existing medical condition of the ticket holder.
- Entry to Marina Bay Sands Sampan Ride is subject to availability.
- Last boat ride for the day will be at 8.50pm.
- All guests must comply with the rules and regulations for the Sampan ride.
- The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the Conditions of Entry of Marina Bay Sands and its representatives. Guests who do not abide by the rules may be denied entry to or escorted out of the premises. Whenever a guest is not permitted to enter the premises or is escorted out for any reason stated in these conditions, no refund will be paid in respect of the ticket.
